Here's what I believe.
I believe in play. I believe in laughter. I believe in saying what’s true. Healing what hurts. Facing what's scary. Letting go of what I don't need anymore.
I believe in doing what I love most. Because, coincidentally, that turns out to be what the world most needs me to do.
I believe in saying "I love you." Slowing down and savoring every delicious thing. Being fully alive to my world in all of its bliss and sadness. Embracing and savoring life in my body. Living with my whole being.
I believe in inhabiting my life.
Because for me, that is what joyful, authentic living looks like.
Maybe you've forgotten how.

I've been there too. I worked hard my whole life to be a good girl and a worthy person and to do good things to make this broken world better.
I've worked so hard there wasn't much of me left.
I've felt shut off from my spirit. Disconnected from my body. Cut off from my inner wisdom, my creative magic, my healing essence.
Good news: I found my way home. You can too.
I now know that you can "do good" and be well. You can have a work-life that nourishes you, even while you nourish the world.
Work with me. You'll remember how. I promise.

The good stuff on paper.
I I help good-hearted professionals who are on the edge of burnout figure out what they want instead and create a roadmap to get there. As a Life Transformation Coach, I help my clients start feeling more empowered right away. They connect with what lights them up, kick guilt to the curb, and make a plan to do the work they long to do so they wake up every morning in love with work and energized about life.
Life Coach Training: I completed my 9 month Life Coach Training in early 2013 with Martha Beck – teacher, best-selling author, monthly O Magazine columnist, and Oprah's "Favorite Life Coach." In addition, I completed a coach's training course in Asset-Based Thinking.
Education and Experience: For nearly 30 years, I've worked with diverse people and organizations – in big cities and small towns – to empower them to develop solutions that make their communities more just, sustainable, and whole. I hold a Master of Arts in Sociology from Washington State University with a focus on communities and environment. I earned a BA in Sociology from Seattle Pacific University and more importantly, a crew of soulful, funny, compassionate life-long friends.
Mind-Body Fitness: I am a trained instructor in The Nia Technique – a movement and lifestyle practice that blends dance, martial arts and healing arts to deliver full-body fitness and leave you feeling recharged, rejuvenated, and fully alive. While I'm no longer teaching Nia, I bring these tools to help my clients tap into the wisdom and joy of their body.
What Else I'm Up To: My other professional love is the Feather River Land Trust, where I help raise funds and community support to conserve the magnificent lands and waters where I live. I am also co-owner of Quincy Collective, a professional co-working space for freelancers, entrepreneurs, remote workers, and other creative folks. And I volunteer with a local, nonprofit charity focused on community philanthropy with a band of dear friends, Bread for the Journey Feather River.
I love living life to the fullest in my little mountain town of Quincy, CA, where I live with my sweetheart and husband (yes, that's the same man...). We jump in fresh mountain waters as often as we can!
